It's over

Baltimore 16, Miami 22 (OT)

Congratulations to the long suffering Dolphins, who inflicted the Ravens' eighth straight defeat to improve to 1-13 for the season. Matt Stover, who missed a 44 yard field goal attempt in overtime for Baltimore, will remember this day for a long time.

In other news, the Jets tried everything in losing to the Patriots 20-10, including using wide receiver Brad Smith as an option quarterback for several series. He did remarkably well running a scheme I have never seen in an NFL game before. I guess most of the Patriots haven't seen it since college, either. Still, New England kept its streak alive, and faces resurgent Miami next week.

I wouldn't put too much money on Miami to make that a two game winning streak.
