Liu Zhihua has been convicted of accepting around one million dollars bribes in his role (which ended abruptly with revelation of the scandal in 2006) as supervisor of construction for the Beijing Olympic Games, among other projects.

If he behaves well for two years, his death sentence will be commuted to life in prison.

When will someone step up and prosecute Juan Antonio Samaranch for similar crimes?
