In today's Alabama-LSU blockbuster, the QBs combined for one touchdown pass and five interceptions. Ouch. Bama squeaked it out in overtime after, you guessed it, an interception.
#3 Penn State, meanwhile, completed a grand total of ten passes all day, and managed to lose to Iowa with one second left. Another title contender bites the dust, and Alabama and Florida know, if one of them wins out, they'll likely face the Big 12 champ for all the official marbles.
The big mythical silver marble may well be up for grabs in that game, too. #2 Texas Tech is defending it as I write against Oklahoma State, which lost the title to Texas just two weeks ago. State is in the red zone... I'd better go and watch.
