Incidentally, 2-7 Columbia has fewer losses than Michigan. Also, of interest to those with a long term view, Texas has tied Notre Dame for the second most wins in college football history, the Wolverines being #1. None of this helps with the Silver Ball, though, which remains safely in Texas Tech's keeping through a bye week.
