Walter O'Malley

50 years later, the man who moved the Dodgers to LA has been elected to the Hall of Fame.

Two alternative reactions:

1. I respectfully disagree. Although this move was a part of the majors finally recognizing the west coast, the Pacific Coast League was doing very well and either it was going major, or someone was going to move. Walter O'Malley was a self interested owner, not a baseball visionary. I fail to see a good case here.
