0 for the season

The Detroit Lions fought gamely after a horrible start, but went down 31-21 at Green Bay. And with that, the 0-14 1976 Tampa Bay Bucs are no longer alone. Detroit, 0-16 for 2008, has slumped from merely awful to historically awful. Since a 9-7 season in 2000, the Lions have gone 31-97. And to think that half way through last season we were wondering if Detroit might make the playoffs. Of course, that was before they lost seven of their last eight games.

But that was mere prelude. 2008 was the full, epic tragedy.

RIP, 2008 Lions. Better days await.
