Greatest of all time


Vin Scully, whose career began as an apprentice to Red Barber when the Dodgers were still in Brooklyn, will retire after the 2010 baseball season. You don't have to be a Dodger fan to appreciate his ability to capture the magic of a ball game and put it into a few beautifully chosen words.

Simply, Vin Scully has no equal in the history of American sportscasting. He will be sorely missed.
