In tangentially related news...

Remember Enron Field? The Astros couldn't get rid of that name fast enough. It turns out that Brooklyn's own ballpark was similarly associated with a shady corporation. Suddenly I'm thankful that it's only the former Keyspan Park.

It's Lima's time

RIP Jose Lima, occasionally brilliant, often disappointing, but always entertaining major league pitcher. Won 21 games with Houston in 1999, and pitched a shutout for the Dodgers' first playoff win in 16 years in 2004. Aged just 37.

A tale of three cities

Let me get this straight. This game started in Washington, and was finished in Houston, while the winning pitcher was in Pittsburgh.
